I received the LV110WP Lĕvoit Water Filter Pitcher for the purpose of a review.

The pitcher included a booklet with safety information and filter maintenance details.
A few important safety guidelines include:
- Only use the filter for tap water that is below 95°F
- Do not expose the pitcher to direct sunlight
- Use filtered water within 1-2 days to reduce the risk of bacteria growing in the pitcher
About the Lĕvoit Water Filter Pitcher
Made of food-grade and BPA-free plastic, the Lĕvoit Water Filter Pitcher holds 2.5 liters of water.
The filter has multiple layers that remove suspended particles, bacteria, chlorine, and impurities. The design includes a micro net that removes sand, rust, sludge, and organic matter. An activated carbon section removes bacteria, chlorine, pesticides, and pollutants. The ion-exchange resin section removes lead, cadmium, mercury, copper, aluminum, and limescale. There’s one final micro net designed to remove additional particles. The filter does not remove minerals such as calcium and magnesium.
One of my favorite features of the Lĕvoit Water Filter Pitcher is the indicator that shows when the filter is ready to change.

The filter cartridge lasts for 60 days or 150 liters of water. The display shows a countdown for the number of days left and the percentage of the filter life.
Another handy feature on the pitcher includes measurement markers in liters.
Preparing the Filter
Prior to filtering tap water, the filter cartridge must be submerged in water for 15 minutes.

There are caps on the bottom of the filter cartridge. These are used to adjust the filtration speed.
After placing the filter cartridge into the chamber, you need to run tap water through the filter a couple of times. This cleans out the remaining carbon dust from the filter.
Using the Lĕvoit Water Filter Pitcher

Taste Test
We have city water and we also own a home with old pipes. We use filtered water for our drinking water and cooking. Although we have a reverse osmosis filtration system connected to our kitchen sink, we also use a water pitcher with a filter. We use it for our cats’ water fountain and anytime we’d prefer cold water. The taste of the filtered water from the Lĕvoit pitcher is much better than our city tap water.
Pitcher and Filter Design
The pitcher handle is comfortable and easy to grip. However, my hands are too small to comfortably reach the flip top with my thumb while holding the pitcher in one hand. We have a pull-down sprayer faucet so this isn’t too much of a problem. Without it, though, I would need to place the pitcher in the sink to refill it.
I like that the filter is super easy to install and it fits snugly in the top basin. Everything comes apart easily when you want to wash the pitcher or replace the filter.
The pitcher fits in the side door of our fridge and it’s short enough to fit on most of our shelves.
