MEET MAMA GRACEHow My Name Was Chosen:
Matt was sitting on the porch with her and he commented that she wasn’t very graceful. She was having a tough time balancing on his lap. So from then on, she became known as Grace.
Personality & Cute Facts: Mama Grace is very friendly and enjoys being held. She enjoys wrestling with her kittens and playing with any of her toys that make sounds. She can often be found with her kitten Slash at her side. She is an indoor kitty now, but before we officially adopted her she was our garden assistant. She could often be found sleeping under the shade of our squash and tomato plants. One of the most entertaining things about Grace is how she sleeps in very relaxed positions.

How My Name Was Chosen:
When Raven was first born, it looked like he had a bird with its wings spread on his back.
Personality & Cute Facts: Raven is often referred to as a needy kitten. He loves to be held and sit in your lap. If he wants to be picked up, he’ll curl around your legs and hug them. He plays fetch with water bottle caps and often carries toys around the house in his mouth.

How My Name Was Chosen:
Her back is black with a white slash mark.
Personality & Cute Facts: Although she’s the only female kitten and a 1/3 of the size of her brothers, she loves wrestling and chasing them around the house. She has beautiful yellow eyes and loves to talk.
MEET SIR EDMUND HILLARY
How My Name Was Chosen:
Sir Eddie loved to climb so he was named after Sir Edmund Hillary – the first man to climb Mount Everest.
Personality & Cute Facts: Sir Eddie is very affectionate. He loves belly rubs and he is definitely a lap cat. He loves toy mice that rattle and he can jump up to the height of Laura’s shoulders.

How My Name Was Chosen:
He has a backwards slash mark on his back.
Personality & Cute Facts: Although he loves to play with his siblings, he often sneaks off with toys. He actually loves to stash them in corners around our home! Every morning he reaches up and hugs our legs. He loves hunting for toys under the fridge.
MEET MONKEY
How My Name Was Chosen:
Monkey loves to investigate his surroundings. When Matt would get home from work, Monkey enjoyed sitting on his shoulder. He was the first to jump the baby gate that we used to block the kittens from leaving their designated room. One evening Matt realized his face looked like a monkey.
Personality & Cute Facts: Monkey was adopted by a family in Mineral, Virginia. His new owner says that he enjoys taking showers!
MEET MEISHA WHITEBOOTS
How My Name Was Chosen:
Meisha is brown with white feet.
Personality & Cute Facts: Although Meisha is our senior cat, she can zip around the house after a laser pointer quicker than our younger cats. She’s an excellent hunter and her favorite toy is a lizard.
