The 3-Season Mummy Sleeping Bag by Survival Hax is recommended for camping, backpacking, and traveling. It is lightweight and includes a compact carry sack.
Generally, a 3-season sleeping bag is made for temperatures between +10°F to +35°F. Although the company did not post a temperature rating on their Amazon listing, it clearly states on the carry sack that it’s recommended for temperatures between +28°F to +59°F.

The carry sack has a drawstring cinch to keep it tightly closed. It also has adjustable straps so you can squeeze the bag to conserve space. I would have liked straps that were slightly longer so that it was easier to pull the straps tighter.

Made of 190 thread count polyester, it’s designed to repel water and is mildew resistant. It has a synthetic filling that will dry quickly if it becomes wet.
As a mummy-shaped bag, it’s narrow in the shoulder and hip areas. This helps to maximize warmth and also reduces weight. I did not see that Survival Hax specified that the bag is intended for men or women. A drawstring allows the bag to be cinched tightly closed around your face to prevent air from entering.

Tight stitching will let in less air. As you can see in the photo, the stitching is loose. I have some concerns that the stitching will pull easily.

Overall I think the bag will be a good addition to our emergency preparedness kit. Matt already has a mummy bag that he takes with him when we’re expecting bad weather.
