Beginning with two styles of boots, a quilted vest, and a pair of jeans, Lugz has expanded to offer boots and shoes to retailers nationwide. The family owned company was founded in October of 1993 and offers footwear for men, women, and kids. Since 2008, Lugz has signed several Mixed Martial Arts fighters including Lyoto Machida, Houston Alexander, Quinton “Rampage” Jackson, Cain Velasquez, Josh Koscheck, and Phil Davis.
In addition to wearing boots when riding his motorcycle, Matt wears boots to work and when completing yardwork. As a robotics technician, he is often on his feet most of the day. Comfort and foot support are very important for long days.
He was provided a pair of Lugz Drifter Lo Ballistic boots for a review. Made of nylon for the upper section, the boots are appropriate for work and casual wear. With a cushioned insole, Matt said that the boots were comfortable. The tongue and collar are also padded. The Lugz logo and foxing tape compliment the boot design.
The size that he requested fit perfectly. We did not locate a size guide on the website, so we just requested the size he normally wears in other brands.
Although this particular pair of boots does not have a steel toe, they carry work boots that are ASTM F2413-05, M1/75 C/75 compliant.
