Barbara Ottmar and her daughters, Roberta and Georgia, offer a unique collection of family-inspired products. Designing functional, fun, and quality products since 1979, Tatutina offers a full line of products for children and adults. Originally working from their basement, the family business now has products available at many retail locations worldwide. I first learned about Tatutina when I saw their creative bookends for children. They also have several hand painted items including jewelry boxes, take out boxes, and supply caddies . You can even have items personalized with a name.
If you’d like to take personalization a step further, they also have every letter of the alphabet available in different 7″ wooden styles.
I received one of their hand painted recipe boxes for a review. I literally said out loud, “This is absolutely adorable!” when I opened my box. The recipe box features several foods on each side and also includes coordinating recipe divider cards for 4 x 6 in index cards.
I can just see this being a perfect gift for a child that is learning how to cook and would like to help in the kitchen.
The wood used for the 7.5″x5″x5″ recipe box is sturdy and the lead-free paint is vibrant.
Tatutina has offered the readers of Our Virginia Home the opportunity to win a recipe box! The winner can pick from any of the boxes available. I actually had a tough time picking my recipe box because each of the styles are very fun. The giveaway will run from July 17th to August 15th, 2012. Use the Rafflecopter form below to enter. The first question is mandatory while all other entries are optional.
