Evolution of Smooth Hand Lotion Review

When opening my package from Evolution of Smooth, I was greeted with a light fragrance of Berry Blossom and Cucumber. Before I started taking pictures of the EOS lotions, I opened each one to see what each smelled like individually. I appreciate that there’s a balance with the fragrances. They are not too strong, yet provide enough fragrance that you get a small burst of scent when you apply it. In addition to Berry Blossom and Cucumber, I also received an everyday lotion.

EOS Hand Lotion

I am fairly particular about hand lotions. Here are a few things that I look for when purchasing a hand lotion:

How long will it last?

When I used to be a retail manager of a busy home decor store, I assisted with processing freight. Our trucks would drop off the freight outside and we would take an hour or two to work our way through the boxes outside. When handling cardboard, your hands get incredibly dry. I look for lotions that don’t have to be reapplied frequently and sooth my hands when they feel dry.

How oily will it make my hands feel?

Because I spend a lot of time on the computer, I look for lotions that do not leave an oily residue behind.

A few years ago, when I sold eyeglasses, I was also responsible for repairing and adjusting eyeglasses. I had several times where I applied hand lotion only to have to wash it off because my hands were too oily. When working with tools, heat, and small parts, I could only wear lotions that were so light on my skin that it felt like I had not applied it in the first place.

I applied the Evolution of Smooth Everyday Lotion over an hour ago, and my hands feel hydrated and smooth. Even with typing on my laptop, it still feels as if I recently put the lotion on my hands. I have not noticed an oily residue.

How strong is the fragrance?

I do not prefer heavy fragrances. I actually get headaches rather easily if a product has too much of a fragrance.

How will the packaging hold up?

With the need to use use lotion year-round, I prefer to have lotion in a convenient size and feel reassured that it won’t burst in my purse or lunchbox. The Evolution of Smooth Hand Lotions came in packages the size of my palm. They are relatively flat so they easily fit into a purse storage compartment. I  gave one package a generous squeeze to test if the top stay closed. With the top staying secure, I feel that I can keep it in my purse without having a concern that it will open.

What are the ingredients?

A couple of times, I have broken out in a red rash almost immediately after applying hand lotion. I have yet to pinpoint what specific ingredient causes this problem. The hand lotions by EOS are paraben-free, phthalate-free, lanolin-free, and dye-free. The lotions also contain shea butter, aloe, and antioxidants.

Overall, I’m very happy with the Evolution of Smooth Hand Lotions. I think they would work great for long-term use and with their nice packaging, they would make great gifts. In addition to having the option to purchase them online, they are also available in retailers such as Walmart and Walgreens. To learn more about Evolution of Smooth, you can visit their website www.evolutionofsmooth.com or follow them on Facebook and Twitter.

I received hand lotions from EOS for a product review. However, my honest opinions were expressed in the review.

Nice post! The first time I saw the image of the lotion, I thought it was a soap. Very well done. Thanks!
