Productivity tools are important for staying on track with your goals. Especially if you spend a lot of time on your computer or phone, you should consider keeping track of items in a place that you can easily access. I have a habit of writing thoughts about post ideas on scrap pieces of paper. I usually don’t look at them again or Little One gets to them first.
Here are a few productivity tools that I recommend:
When I write posts, one of the most time consuming parts is locating links. This is one reason I started using an online note system. You can add photos, text, and video to your notes. Available for mobile devices, as a desktop application, or online.
Zemanta is an addon for Firefox that recommends links and images based on the content of your blog posts.
Easily create and share with others using Google Docs. This is a great tool if you need to share information with others.
Need a little extra nudge to work on your health? Skinnyo helps you track your health goals with graphs, a personal diary, badges, and more. Enter into challenges and participate with others or simply use it as a way to document your own personal challenges. As a blogger, you can easily spend hours sitting at your computer and follow this pattern for days at a time. This is one way to remind yourself to take a break and do something good for yourself.
Similar to Evernote and Pinterest, Clipix allows you to make bulletin boards to keep track of your to do lists and reminders. (Thanks to Janet for introducing this site!)
Is there an application that you have found helfpul with organizing? Please share it!
Oh, I need to check out Evernote. Thanks!
Thank you for linking up this great post!! I have registered for all of these sites now.
Glad that you found them helpful Monica and Clarissa. Keep visiting because I’ll have future posts like this as I find more helpful sites.
I’m going to have to check out Zemanta that sounds great! I like Cozi for my grocery lists and scheduling stuff.
