The Piper Computer Kit is designed to help kids learn about building and programming electronics. With Piper, kids that are 8+ will get a head start with learning computer science and electronics.
The kit includes 168 pieces with instructions for building a functioning computer. The computer will run the Raspberry Pi Edition of Minecraft and custom Piper Universe games that teach additional electronics and programming skills. The Piper Computer Kit retails for $299 for the student edition.
Piper is taught in schools nationwide and is approved for STEM programs. Piper supports Common Core and NGSS standards. In addition to the computer kit, you can purchase the Stanford endorsed curriculum that covers more about the basics of electronics, programming, and computing.
