The Jackson Galaxy Vault Catnip Marinator is the ultimate storage case for Jackson Galaxy or other brand cat toys. The Vault has sides that hold organic catnip. Toys are placed in the middle of the vault where they can absorb the scent of the catnip.
As soon as we began unpacking the Vault, our cats had their heads in it. The bag of catnip that was included was fresh!
Although there is an entire line of Jackson Galaxy toys, the Vault can be used with any cat toys. Sir Edmund Hillary and Raven are shown with the Jackson Galaxy Puma Paw and Ground Prey Iguana. Our cats like to lick catnip off of their plush toys and sometimes they take the toys and rub them on their faces. One of the benefits of using the Vault is that you can get the catnip scent on the toys without caking them in catnip. The catnip scent will transfer to rubber toys, too. This is a huge plus for our cats because they have several toys that do not have a catnip scent.
I would recommend that you don’t keep the Vault in a place that your cats can knock it down or chew on it. Raven attempted to unlock the sides by biting and clawing at the clasps. Also, you will want to take the protective plastic wrap off the orange sides. Our cats eat plastic, so I’m sure they would have chewed it off the Vault if I didn’t remove it first.
Here’s a photo of Raven and Slash checking on their toys.
