Lovable Labels began in 2003 when a mother needed a way to label her son’s items for daycare. (At this moment, I’m picturing myself trying to label a tiny shoe with a sharpie marker.) Rather than risk your child losing clothing, toys, and other items, get organized and get labeling!
Lovable Labels provides labels that are both kid-friendly and durable. Some of the products available for purchase include: clothing labels, bag tags, household labels, stationary, and other multi-purpose labels.
I was given the opportunity to try the Camp Pack labels.
The pack had a very generous offering of
15 Sticker Labels
40 Slimline Labels
12 Shoe Labels
72 Press n’ Stick Clothing DOTS™
2 Mini-Metal Tags
12 Square Labels
Using their website, you can personalize the text and images of your labels. You can get decorative labels or keep them simple and just pick a couple of colors. The labels I made for my niece, Britney, are customized with a kitty graphic. Their site is easy to use and your children can also join you during the customization process and pick their favorite colors and images.
My labels arrived in a booklet with sheets and was organized into tabbed sections. This is a great option because you don’t have to worry about the sheets getting bent. As you can see, the labels were printed clearly and the color was not dull.
Rather than using stickers that can peel off and break apart when exposed to water, Lovable Labels provides labels that are microwave, washer and dryer safe. Clothing labels are even bleach safe and UV resistant.
Labeling food and drink containers is a great idea. Especially for a sports team, water bottles can easily get mixed up. If your child has a food allergy, you can use the labels to warn others about the allergy. The Camp Pack that I received has a limit on the number of characters that you can add in the name field, but there are several other packs available that allow more customization options. (However, it states on the website that you can add special instructions for text if the online system limits the number of characters.)
My favorite line of labels are the Press n’ Stick Clothing DOTS. Because the labels do not require ironing or sewing, kids can get involved and stick them on their own clothes. Can you just picture your child helping you sort laundry by finding their own labeled clothes? The best part is that you will not ruin the clothes. When I was little, a black sharpie was used on my clothes.
In addition to the labels, I also received two tags. I know that I would have benefited from these when I was younger to label my lunchbox, book bag, and clarinet case. If you like these, you may also want to take a look at their bag tags.
